Free start-up support for Lewes District residents
The Lewes District Start-up Programme is a three-part programme of support for pre-start and early-stage businesses, including community enterprises, co-operatives and other social enterprises.
Module 2 is starting on September 25th (register now!). Modules 1 and 3 are starting in late 2024 and early 2025 (dates to be confirmed).

Module 1
A series of half-day workshops and drop-in sessions that will help transform your business ideas into smart, practical and actionable plans.
Outcome:
A workable model for your business that considers key elements, including customers and organisational structure.
Business basics
Module 2
Workshops and resources focusing on foundational business skills such as financial management, marketing and customer management.
Outcome:
A 12 month business plan, plus skills and knowledge to handle the the day-to-day running of your business.
Preparing to grow
Module 3
Peer-to-peer sessions and one-to-one mentoring focusing on business growth, recruitment, funding models and impact measurement.
Outcome:
Feel confident and ready to meet the challenges that come with growth; with a network of peers to carry you forward.
